Keith Lemley
Iowa City, IA
Residency: February – March 2012
Keith’s interests focus on intersections between natural and manmade systems, time and the process of life and death, and an aesthetic sensibility synthesizing the organic and the machine. Using light as a primary medium, his work is about seeing the unseen psychological presence which exists in our minds and surrounds all objects, experiences, and memories. Keith earned a BFA from The Pennsylvania State University and MFA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and has been featured in a number of publications including The Corning Museum of Glass’s New Glass Review.
