"The work portrays the silent struggle between mind and body; the delicate balance of porcelain perched up on a spindly steel structure; my body pressed inside a sealed glass incubator, top heavy, confined, atop a skirt pedestal on wheels; beautifully trapped, choking on snow, suffocating beauty, exhausting and exhilarating… Sadness slows my body to a crawl, anchored down by a sixty-foot black skirt, which trails behind leaving the mark of my solitary dance."
