deCastro received his MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design Providence, RI and his BA from Amherst College. deCastro has shown his work at the Tompkins Public Library, Ithaca, NY and Long Beach Island Foundation for the Arts and Sciences, NJ. deCastro has received grants from New York State DEC Grant and the Saltonstall Foundation for the Arts: Community Arts Grant and a Mid-Atlantic Arts Foundation: Artist as Catalyst Grant.
