Raura Oblitas Jordan
Lima, Peru
Residency: February – March 2015
Project Description
Get the Balance Right is a project that looks into the ideas that built the meaning of power and nation. I worked using elements from three institutions: the school, the church and the prison. I have created an installation with sculptures that combine (in an evident but also ambiguous way, the repression of the body and of the mind inherent in the structures of these institutions.
